The compound effect is the principle of reaping huge rewards from a series of small, smart choices.

Very few people have the discipline to put in the practice over a long period of time. Be the 1% who do.

• Small Actions Add Up: Consistent, small actions over time lead to significant results.

• Momentum Builds: Repeated efforts = increased momentum and increased success.

• Discipline: You alone are responsible for what you do, how you do it, and the outcomes.

Two years in, pretending like I know what I’m doing. I don't. The secret is, beneath the highlight reels of social media, nobody really does. The difference between those who succeed and those who don’t is they start and don’t stop.

At first, I took anything and everything to build a portfolio, a reputation, and pay rent. If you read my last newsletter, you’ll know building Cove was an accident. I got let go from my job (some would call it fired lol). At that moment, I decided I no longer wanted to fund someone else’s dream.

Being everything to everyone won’t build sustainable success. So, with that, I’m turning away work, staying in my lane of genius and perfecting it over and over again.

In short:

• Discipline sucks but it’s the difference between you now and the 1% who start and don’t stop.

• Pick the ‘thing’ that made you start i.e branding. Do that, do it really f*cking well, and improve it over and over.

• Safe options = predictable outcomes | risky choices = unexpected opportunities & growth.

[3] Where the f*ck to start

Put simply, just start. Sigh, I know that’s not what you want to hear, but take those small actions now, momentum will flow, and each action will compound.

Some actionable ideas:

• Buy the domain

• Set up the social pages

• Brain-dump all of your ideas by hand and highlight the needle-moving actions
